Bright Eyes Family Vision

I have been to a few Eye care places since my regular Dr. retired, and none have been able to get me a prescription that actually works. My glasses prescription is a little difficult but Bright Eyes nailed it. With their modern computerized equipment and knowledgeable staff My new glasses are the best. I highly recommend Bright Eyes in Pingree, IL.

A friendly staff and Dr. Vatianou is the BEST! He has great bedside manners! Definitely would recommend him 100%. My family and I have been going to him for years.

This was my first time with Bright Eyes and they have earned my business for a lifetime. The office was beautiful, inviting, and professional. Technology was more advanced than my prior vision center and less invasive - a welcome change. Doctor Kara was kind, knowledgeable, thorough in answering my questions and made great recommendations based on my vision needs; it was refreshing to have a doc who treated me as more than a number. Staff was friendly and supportive. I had a blast meeting them all and chatting (and discovering a shared love for Jack) while we selected our eyewear; they helped us make a great selection and accomodated our budget. Thank you, Brian, for going above and beyond. And last but not least, Maisie was lovely and sweet; her presence says a lot about Bright Eyes' values. This place is great. First time I had my exam and Doc was awesome . I had a hard time getting my mono vision right but they made sure to get it correct and that I was happy. The staff reaches out and super pleasant. Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Williams since we moved here almost 10 years ago. It is wonderful to have a family eye clinic right here in Pingree Grove. The staff at Bright Eyes is so friendly and helpful. We get all our glasses there. They have a great frame selection. Several years back I had cataract surgery and now need to be seen by an opthalmologist. So I no longer go to Dr. Williams for my annual eye exam. However, my husband still has his annual exam there. Last week I had an eye emergency. I was concerned because we were getting ready to go out of town. I called Bright Eyes and they squeezed me in that day. Dr. Williams was able to take care of my problem. It was a big relief to be able to go out of town free from eye pain. Thank you to Dr. Williams and the staff at Bright Eyes Family Vision for all their help. I highly recommend them.

I took my 5 year old here for her first eye exam for kindergarten and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and the place is brand new and clean! The eye doctor, Kara, was also very patient with my kids during the eye exam. Would definitely go back again for future appointments!

Took our 4 year old son for his 1st eye exam! Dr. Zolnik was exceptional she is patient, kind, and understanding with kids. She had tricks to make her younger patients cooperate. When he was having a rough time following instruction she rerouted the explanation, and got what she needed without tears. Very grateful for this experience as it was needed, and your child didn't want to. When as a parent you were preparing for the worst, and got a great experience! You definitely have you have to put that review out for the world, and tell others! They do a fantastic job here.

My husband, son and myself all went here for our yearly exam and the staff was wonderful. Optometrist educated us on everything we needed to know and was so good with our 4 year old. Best doc in the area!

Just leaving Bright Eyes, great staff, very friendly. Mary, Lily and Dr Zolnik were fantastic and very knowledgeable. I don't typically like optometrist visits and I've never recommended one before but here I am strongly recommending this wonderful staff.

I had what I considered to be an eye emergency and could not get in touch with my regular eye doctor. So, on the advice of a friend, I called Bright Eyes and they booked an appointment for me that same day. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. The doctor gave me a treatment plan, and I left feeling very relieved. I had a very good experience and would highly recommend them.

Dr Mehta is great...she's thorough and doesn't rush you. It's my 3rd annual visit and I will be back again next year. The staff at EG Eye were kind, caring, friendly and thorough. My glasses were arrived promptly, too! Nice selection of frames.

The Doc has a excellent team helping her. I was so upset that day and the love and kindness was so great there I had to apologize before leaving. The service there was almost like being around family that care whether you are having a bad day or not. Not just getting glasses. So I have been going to stage same place for years. When first came, they were the only place that didn’t require me to use eyedrops and instead takes pictures inside my eyes to get a clearer view of my eye health. Once you are done, they have fabulous people to help you find the perfect frame. Joseph has been here for years and is super honest and helpful. Paula is totally awesome, super friendly and great at making sure your glasses are done correct, the first time, every time (she also has great taste). Yes, there are tons of places for glasses these days, but my pairs from some of the bigger mail in companies and other optometrists don’t fit well, and the lenses are not as clear. Nothing is more important then your health and eyesight, go here if you value yours!

Dr. Tabani is an extremely compassionate, kind, patient, and highly skilled doctor. Highly qualified and recommended and well-supported by a friendly and competent team of professionals who care about their patients.

Not only are the ophthalmologists fantastic—ensuring that my vision is optimized year after year—but the techs and office staff take the best possible care of you. I specifically want to call out Angela Smith, the Practice Manager, who handled my recent contact lens order. She went above and beyond, and I truly appreciate the level of customer service she provided, especially her resourcefulness, kindness and patience. Could I find a practice closer to home? You bet. But the care I get at NSVC is worth sitting in traffic for.

I've been going to Dr. Leahy for several years now, he spends a lot of time with you. I had some issues that my other long time eye doctor just couldn't seem to help me with but Dr. Leahy did. Hours are very convenient and it's easy to get an appt.

I had a great experience at Primary EyeCare Centers in Crystal Lake. The front desk was very nice, welcoming, and helpful. Dr. John Tatar was amazing — very thorough, informative, and professional throughout the exam. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole visit feel comfortable and well handled. Highly recommend this office and especially Dr. Tatar.

From the moment I walked in they were so welcoming. I was a bit nervous about the visit so on guard a bit. But from the front desk, the person who did the preliminary tests, then to Dr Cleland, I really felt comfortable. What I really loved- LOVED- was that at the end when I was pricing my glasses, they didn't PUSH. I wasn't ready to purchase- of course I want to research all my options- and I got no push back. THAT is so important!! I was so happy after I left, confident in my eye health.

I recently contacted this office in an emergency early on a Saturday morning when my husband injured his eye. The office was able to fit him in that morning and he was seen immediately. They were kind and extremely helpful. They got him the care he needed and made us so comfortable. This office is fantastic and well a call for excellent care & support.

What a great find! They have state of the art equipment that makes tests I usually dislike, quick and comfortable. Dr. Kim is super thorough and provided me with a ton of great advice. It's nice to find a health care professional that takes the time to cover all the bases without rushing me out the door. They even tuned up my old frames for free and they feel like new again :-)

Great place to get your annual eye exam and glasses/contacts. They genuinely care about their customers/patients and advise them accordingly. Dr Kim was very honest with me about feeling like I had the wrong prescription for my glasses. I felt like she was experienced clinically but also trust worthy. Most of her office staff was amazing and I really like feeling like I can go to them for help if I have issues to be addressed with billing, glasses, medical records, etc. Some of glasses selection seems a bit on the higher end in price (unsurprising for glenview) but they had more affordable options too.

It's an excellent optometrist place. Staff was polite and efficient. Quick but good eye exam and good prices with insurance (MetLife). Glasses took a few days but great work. Overall great place and I can recommend.

I had never been here before. But I needed an appointment ASAP after my kitten scratched my eye accidentally. My phone call was answered on the first ring and they were able to see me immediately. (Not something I expected they’d be able to do!) The front desk, pretester, and doctor were all very friendly and helpful. My prescription was sent in and filled before I had even left the building. They were great with the small kids that were there at the same time as me, too. I would highly recommend!

The techs at this office are great! I had one of the arms of my glasses fall off at the worst possible time - the day of a job interview and I was about to leave for a trip. As a new patient walk in, they saw me right away and worked together to replace the arm with a spare one they had that matches really well and feels sturdy. Thank you!

I’ve been wearing glasses and / or contacts since I was in fourth grade (roughly 20 years) and Insight Vision Care is hands down the best optometrist office I’ve ever been to! The front office staff is incredibly kind, helpful and patient! I had a great visit with Dr. Cullen who took the time to explain my exam results in an easy to understand fashion and made an excellent recommendation for a switch in contact lenses! I’ve seen Dr Alles for years in Joliet/ New Lenox. Yesterday was my first time as a new patient at the Tinley Park office. I had an issue pop up and called expecting to be seen possibly within a few days and was shocked to hear “He’s double booked but we can squeeze you in. Can you come now?” I walked in, was greeted immediately by a friendly, welcoming staff and seen promptly by Doctor. Very thankful for a great experience!

I always find the the office neat and clean and the the staff very helpful. Dr Alles is very competent, thorough, nice, articulate and spends the time you need answering any questions you may have. There is a sense of contentment about the office you don't find in many places and I like that!

Doctor was super friendly, did a great job fitting my contacts, pointed something out I hadn’t noticed before and gave me options. My last place gave me no options. Availability worked great for me, I work from home and prefer to take my appointments during the work day. It’s hard for me to go to appointments outside of the workday because it’s usually so busy around town. The location is super convenient, and there was no wait at all. The front desk ladies were very friendly as well.

I just had my first eye appointment there and it went very smoothly. The assistants and Dr. Pitts were very calming and friendly. Everyone was very efficient and knowledgeable. Dr. Pitts found a brand very similar to my previous brand of contacts and they feel the same if not better. My only recommendation is to go through the big glass door entrance on Franklin Street. It will seem like you are going into the big gallery space but the office is just up the steps and to the left. Very pleasant environment for waiting. Overall highly recommend.

Dr. Patel is, for lack of better words… VERY thorough and amazing at her job. I haven’t gotten this level of care for my eyes… ever. I have medically necessary contacts and glasses and I had no clue until the day of my appt that I no longer needed to pay OOP. 10/10 experience from start to finish. I had my initial exam, dilation, picked out glasses, and had a final exam all within an hour. Every person I interacted with was kind and very professional. I also get the feeling that they are happy to support the patient with whatever they’re looking for and they’re not pushing a sales quota or agenda. I came here because of the Google rating and it was definitely the right choice. The vibe of the space is friendly, open, with good music and a happy staff.

Dr Jordan is highly knowledgeable & takes the time to explain everything My only recommendation is to cross train the staff to check in & check out the patient so the patient is not waiting needlessly for the one staff member designated (who is on the phone) for patient check out.

Dr. Jones is honestly the best. He explains things in a way that actually makes sense, and you can tell he really enjoys what he does. I broke my glasses and was freaking out because I had work and without them i’m blind as can be. I found WEAR EYEWEAR on Google and decided to see if it was possible for them to fix my glasses even though I wasn’t a patient. I found Dr. Leahy while living on the south side of Chicago, I'd been going to the usual eye 👁️ docs in a box for my eye exam and glasses, thinking they were the best deal. But once I found Dr. Leahy, I never went anywhere else! Her staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr Leahy is so very knowledgeable and personable, actually remembers your name and history; and not just from looking at your chart! She offers a wonderful selection of glasses and different contact lenses that work for your specific need. She offers tests that check behind your eyes for early detection and stays on top of any diagnosis found to establish correction. I feel comfortable with her and her ability and even though I’ve moved North, I’ll always travel back to see her, the best eye doctor for me!

I can’t say enough about Dr. Leahy. She’s been my family’s optometrist for 25+ years. She’s a wonderful optometrist and is so kind and will go out of her way to help you. Her staff is equally wonderful. They’re always so nice, so efficient, and they make you feel very comfortable. I highly recommend…they’re the best!!

I've been going here for my eye care for a number of years and Dr. Disalvo and her whole staff are so nice and courteous. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for my eye care. 👍🏾 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

01/2021 Current review: Another great visit. This office was able to fit me in last minute due to a cancellation. They contacted me right away since since my earliest appointment (due to my schedule) wouldn’t be until March. They helped me select the right frames and avoid making a bad choice. Haha. I HATE going to the eye doctor, but my wife makes me go once a year. The only thing that makes this tolerable is Dr. Disalvo-Ost. I dare you to find a doctor in the U.S. who knows more than she does. She is the most knowledgeable and thorough optometrist we have ever been to, the wife is always singing her praises. To top it off, she is the nicest person and very gentle. No matter where you are in Chicagoland or even in neighboring states, if you need expert care for your eyes, Dr. Disalvo-Ost is worth the trip.

Been going to Dr Leahy for over 30 years and they never disappoint. Always willing to answer questions, very knowledgeable and are helpful in picking out the wide variety of frames available.

I have been a patient for several years and they are the best. Dr DiSalvo is so patient and thorough. She explains everything about the test results and recommendations for contacts and glasses. The entire staff is friendly and very helpful.

Absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. I had a lot of tests done and they made every bit of it pleasant! Everything from testing, explaining things, answering questions, and picking out glasses was so streamlined and comfortable! I guess you could spend more money here than the chains that rush you in and out but they have options from lower to higher end glasses, etc. If your even thinking about going here...Just go! I am glad I found a home here! Oh and Amie rocks! Great doc! Last but not least the entire staff is friendly and they have good music too lol!

This was my first time at Primary EyeCare Centers - Edgebrook and only my second eye exam of my adult life. I had no issue getting an appointment right away that worked for my schedule. I printed the new patient paperwork at home and had it filled out when I arrived for my appointment which seemed to streamline the process. The entire staff made me feel welcome and I was extremely pleased with the service I received and the quality of my glasses. I also had no insurance and paid out of pocket and I did not feel any type of pressure when picking out my new glasses. I would definitely recommend them.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish They took the time to help me find the perfect frames and ensured that my prescription lenses were fitted correctly. I was impressed with their patience and knowledge, especially as a first-time glasses wearer. I highly recommend Carillon Vision Center and their wonderful team!

I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Neukirch. He is a true professional and treated us with warmth and friendliness. Dr. Neukirch is a very skilled practitioner, he is very concise and methodical. Also, the office staff is very affable, and they always greet me with a smile. His office is very clean and very well maintained. Therefore, it is a very buoyant environment, and I am very satisfied with the result for my Ortho-K lenses! I had a very positive experience there, so I highly recommend Dr. Neukirch's practice. I would like to give him more than 5 stars, thank you very much!!

This has been my place for eye exams and glasses for more than 10 years. Dr. Neukirch is thorough in his examinations, has a wonderful and kind disposition, and uses the latest technology. The staff is always courteous. They have a pretty nice selection of frames. Make sure you say hi to Leo, the cutest member of the team!

I've been going here for a couple of years and I love it! The optometrist did a thorough job and answered all my questions. The service people in front were pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional, even when dealing with a nightmare customer (rude, verbally abusive, and threatened to leave nasty reviews).

Dr. DalPorto is terrific! I am a pathological myope who had exclusively seen a pediatric ophthalmologist for all of his corrective lens needs since childhood, but it was long past time to stop seeing him. I selected Carillon after critically examining Google Reviews for eye clinics near me and was not disappointed. An informative display in the lobby about myopia instantly made me feel welcome. Dr. DalPorto is the model doctor: superbly affable, extremely thorough, and caring toward the patient's holistic well-being, not only optical health. I was delighted to receive my new prescription here and the great news that my eyesight - if corrected - is strong enough to pass vision screening tests to drive. She was also the first to tell me that my vision would be even better were I to switch to rigid contact lenses. If you're in the Chicagoland area and in need of such services, I wouldn't go anywhere but here.

Both myself and my daughter see Dr DalPorto. She is thorough, quick, keeps things moving while answering the ten thousand questions my 9 year old threw at her. She put everyone at ease and make the appointment as stress free as possible. The office is clean, with parking, lots of options for eye wear, staff are all friendly and helpful. They also have an office dog! 10/10 I would highly recommend!

I began with Carillon Vision under the care of Dr. Agrest, he was a great Dr. Since his retirement I have been seen by both Dr. Neukirch and Dr. DalPorto. Both are very professional and knowledgeable and explain everything very thoroughly. All the staff there is great, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend them!

I’ve moved out of Glenview years ago. Even when moving out of state, I still come to see Dr Neukirch for all my eye health appointments. Now my daughter sees him as well. I feel he’s very thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, easy to talk to and personable.

We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door. The front desk staff was polite and professional, and they clearly explained what paperwork needed to be completed and the reason for it. Courtney took care of us before the doctor came in, and she was also friendly, polite, and professional. She walked me through the process and explained what exams would be done for my son. Since this was his first eye exam, I really appreciated how she kept him engaged and comfortable throughout the visit. The doctor was wonderful as well. He asked my son questions, was very engaging, and made sure he felt at ease. Overall, it was a phenomenal visit from start to finish.

I have written a review before about Advanced Eye Care. I need I feel I must write another one. A month or so ago I had issue with contact lens. I had no appointment and asked if someone could please look in my eye to see if any contact was stuck. They said my insurance wouldn't cover that would be a medical issue with insurance. I asked if i could pay out of pocket and they did have an opening to see someone. I was escorted into an exam room and saw the nicest Dr O. who checked both my eyes to make sure nothing was stuck in either of them. Turned out to be dry eyes only. I went up to desk to see how much the service had cost and they told me have a good day! I cannot say enough about this place. Dr Tiffany was my doctor who I absolutely LOVED but is gone. I will remain a patient love them. Very good people. Give them a try!

Cress was very professional & knowledgeable about what I needed & got me in and out quickly, Great atmosphere & friendly staff. Even though I have been wearing progressive glasses for over 15 years, I could never use them as intended, I was always retaking them off to read something close until I visited Dr. Kubicki. For the first time ever my progressive glasses are progressive, I use them for far and close, and I do not gate them. Also for the first time ever, I wear them at home, while in the past my eyes were getting tired of glasses and I wax taking them off as soon as I got home so THANK YOU Dr. Kubicki! Highly recommend visiting this Doctor and the office, and I am forever grateful for his expertise.

Best eyecare services esp in Ortho-K nightwear lense technology, which completely eliminates wearing glasses during the day by wearing vision correction lenses during sleep time only. My son still using it over almost 14 years and absolutely benefitted from using it and that too without any eye issues or complications during this time.
